Aldersgate offers a diverse set of opportunities around Adult Education and Discipleship.
On Sunday mornings at 10:00am – between services – there is an adult sunday school class. Currently this class is working their way through We Make the Road by Walking by Brian D. McLaren. All are welcome to join.
On Monday afternoons there is a women’s book study that meets at the church from 1:30-3pm.
On Wednesday mornings Pastor Brad teaches a study. The morning study begins at 10:00am and runs until 11:30am. Like all other classes, all are welcome to attend. The discussions are dynamic, fun, and deep. The fall session runs from September 18th through November 20th.
There are classes offered at various times throughout the year on health and wholeness, classes about spiritual direction and disciplines, and classes that help us understand mental health.
There are parent support classes and parent education classes some of which are affiliated with our preschool.
There is a Young at Heart Group that is for older adults. They meet every other month and explore a variety of topics.
As a part of our ongoing support of the greater community, there are also multiple AA Recovery Groups that meet at Aldersgate.
Information about specific groups and times can be found by contacting the church office.
