@theCrossroads – Young Adult Group
Being a young adult means exciting years of new opportunities and experiences, along with challenges and confusion. @the Crossroads Young Adult Group is made up of a group of young adults seeking to follow Christ in an intentional and authentic way; where you are free to be who you are, express your ideas and doubts, and grow in your faith.
We gather to share life; loving, supporting, learning and serving together. In addition to our monthly dinner gatherings, the group also gathers for other social outings and service opportunities offered at Aldersgate.
All are welcome to be part of this group – whether you worship at Aldersgate, somewhere else or just want to grow in your personal faith in a small group!
Young at Heart
This group is targeted at the retired population and meets every other month for a potluck dinner, fellowship and entertainment. Some of the entertainment opportunities have been educational, musical along with a chance to get to know each other better. This group provides the retired adults a way to continue connection and grow in a loving community.
Currently our adult Bible Study class is meeting via Zoom on Wednesdays at 10am. Jen Hoerber, our children, youth, and family ministry director, is leading discussion on the stories and Bible Points from our Vacation Bible School curriculum. Discussions are dynamic as we are a congregations with different minds and experiences and don’t always agree about things which is celebrated and debates are done with respect and thoughtfulness.
